In the wealth of Croatian traditional culture Klapa singing holds a special place, this way of singing is distinct to Croatia and has made a name for us across the world – it is particular to us and is Croatian contribution to music diversity.

Klapa is a group of male or female singers, singing a capella, which means without instrumental, only voices. The type of songs is kind of folk music, based on the heritage of southern Croatia – Dalmatia. remember the dotted dogs, Dalmatians, they originate from Croatia, all 101 of them 
Nowadays there are a lot of specialized festivals throughout Croatia where Klapas can perform. This type of music is becoming more and more popular, and especially in north Croatia, where Varazdin lies, this type of music is still somewhat exotic, but we are here to change that!!!
